Thermal Direct and Thermal Transfer Labels for Zebra, Eltron and other desktop printers
These labels are specifically designed for use in the Zebra labels range of desk top and industrial printers, they can be used in other manufacturers printers, if unsure, please check with us first.
All 25mm core products have 12 rolls/box and are suitable for: the desktop Printers Zebra (TLP/ LP) 2844 / 3842 / 2842 / 2742 / 2722 / 2642 / 2622, GX / GK series. All 76mm core products have 4 rolls/box - Suitable for the larger industrial printers

Choose which width sizes you require.

• Direct Thermal - Direct Thermal Labels will change color (usually black) when heated. A heating element (such as a print-head) can be used to create an image on the label. Custom labels can be easily made on location in this way. A disadvantage is durability, because another heat source can ruin or obscure the image, or it may fade completely over time.
• Thermal Transfer These Labels are printed on via a Thermal Transfer Ribbon. The cost of the ribbons plus the thermal transfer labels is similar to that of the direct thermal labels on their own. This material has the advantage of a much longer readable life and does not fade with time or heat.
  Most Thermal Printers can be used for either Thermal Transfer (TT) or Thermal (DT) labels.
