The EasyData 2000
A battery operated portable computer with integral bar code scanner.
This means convenient one-handed operation for double quick data capture&
asset tracking. You can choose between CCD or Laser Scanning technologies
and can select the right amount of memory for your application - 128K
to 1M.
Wrist Strap
Extra insurance against accidental drops.
Batteries
Two standard AA batteries are preloaded to get
you going. That's all you will need for the first 70 hours (integrated
laser), or 100 hours (integrated CCD) operation.
Manuals
You get three manuals, one for installation, one
for day to day users and one for system managers and advanced users.
Communications Cable
The means by which you can transfer data between
the Portable Terminal and your host PC. If you prefer contactless (IR)
communications, there is an optional cradle available.
EasyData 2000 Software
The heart of the system. The means by which you
can create your own portable data capture routines in minutes - even
if you don't have the programming skills. The means to send your program
(and associated look up tables, if required) to the Portable Terminal.
The means to transfer captured data from the Portable Terminal back
to the PC in a form most convenient for your main application software.
The means to make changes to your data capture system as your company
changes, with little effort and no extra cost.
